Farmhouse. C17, with late C19 and early C20 alterations. Sandstone rubble
with Welsh slate roofs, brick shafts to stacks. Rectangular plan aligned
east/west facing south with axial and lateral stacks. Two storeys with
attics. South front: five gables, each with a blocked opening, left end
gable partly obscured by later addition extending forward to south, 2-light
casement window and 2-light C20 window to right-hand return, two 3-light
casement windows and two blocked openings to right to first floor, 3-light
C20 window and 3-light casement window to left on ground floor with three
blocked openings to right, present entrance to rear through C20 glazed
porch. Interior inaccessible. (RCHM, Vol 3, p 78).
