Public house. C17, with late C19 additions and alterations. Timber-
framed with plastered infill, sandstone rubble plinth and stacks with
brick shafts, and stone rubble later additions, tiled roof. Three framed
bays aligned north-west/south-east facing south-west, with later addition
to rear; further minor additions to north-west gable end. Single storey
and attic; two gabled dormers with 2-light casement windows flank central
half-dormer with similar window; ground floor: lean-to addition to left
with 3-light casement window, one 3-light casement window and one 2-light
window to left and similar windows to right of gabled porch; part glazed
panelled door. Interior altered.
