An ancient well granted in Tudor times to John Hornyold. The well-house is
of 1843. Stucco, pantiled roof, wooden lantern. Two storeys. Four windows,
round-headed openings with brick arches and gable heads above. The ground
floor has 2 reproduction Norman arches, the left-hand one opening into a square
chamber containing the well, which has an arched basin on a pedestal. Recently
restored from a state of ruin.
