Farmhouse. Dated 1674. Coursed sandstone rubble, C20 tiled roofs.
Rectangular plan, five bays aligned north-west/south-east facing south-
west with central projecting porch, two rear lateral stacks and later
inserted stack to south-west side. Two storeys with gable lit attic,
lower projecting two storey gabled porch to centre. Irregular fenestration,
mostly 3-light casements, two ground floor windows to right of porch are
C20 glazing bar sashes; small gable light to porch, with 3-light casement
on first floor; traces of flat label, 4-centred arched doorway with square-
headed surround and datestone above inscribed 1674 and initials "G/W M" within
a shield. Inner doorway with moulded architrave and ledged door; the porch
is uncommonly spacious inside and has blocked side windows.
