north-west of Upper Moor

Water tower, disused. 1820's. Probably by George Phillips Manners of Bath.
Rubble. Three storeys, all floors and roof lost, as well as staircase;
crenellated parapet, lancets to first and second floor, those on second floor
with deep external chamfers. Entrance in west wall with triangular headed
wooden frame under segmental stone arch. A prominent feature in the local
landscape. (Reid 1980, p 47).
