Nantyglasdwr Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably C17 with mid-C19 and C20 alterations. Painted rubble,
slate roof. Five-room plan, aligned north-east/south-west; second and
third rooms from north-east end are recessed back from line of eaves by
c0.5 metres; stacks on rear wall of the third and fourth rooms, end stack
with oven to south-west gable. Two storeys, irregular fenestration, five
2-light casements to first floor, ground floor: to left C20 door under
timber lintel; recessed portion: to left a blocked door or window, 3-light
casement, door in gabled porch, to right a 3-light casement; C20 rubble
porch with lean-to roof, door to left, casement to right: to right of porch
a single light casement. All pre-C20 openings have timber lintels.
