GV II

Farmhouse. Probably C17 with C18 and C19 alterations, restored in late
C20. Sandstone rubble and ashlar, hipped Welsh slate roof. L-plan with
one arm aligned roughly east/west and other arm extending southwards from
east end. Cellar with two storeys and attic. North elevation has 2-light
chamfered mullioned window and low ledged door to left side of basement,
three windows to first floor, cross-mullioned C20 lights and C20 glazed
door, two gabled dormers with C20 casements; to the right is a single-
storey extension. Interior inspection not possible at time of resurvey
but reported in RCHM Vol I, p 240, as having late C17 staircase with moulded
handrail and square newels.
