Lock. c1805 with some late C19 and mid-C20 repairs. Rectangular chamber
with stone copings (partly repaired in brick), single gate upper end, pair
of gates to lower end. Mouth of lock in blue brick with brick copings, with
steps on north side. C19 brick treads for opening upper gate preserved.
Number of lock incised in stone block set in mouth wall. Included for group
value. This lock forms a part of the Tardebigge Flight, the longest in
England.
