9/189 The Old Engine House

GV II


Pump house, now night club. Early C19 with some late C20 alterations.
Brick with slate roof. East front: three storeys, stone coped verges to
gable, a segmentally-headed casement to first and second floors; ground
floor: C20 brick gabled porch. Lower range extends towards canal. This
building is a prominent location at the summit of the Tardebigge Flight.
