House. C17 or earlier, altered in C19. Timber frame roughcast
with weatherboarded apron and steep old red tile roofs. A large
2-storeys 3 windows long house facing S. Gabled crosswing at
each end, and small W extension. Lean-to outshut at rear. Large
central chimney and cross passage at W end of hall. Rear stair.
flush casement windows. Interior has heavy straight braces to
tie-beams, clasped-purlin roof with flat-laid rafters over W
wing, former open fireplace on ground floor with cupboards and
smaller fireplace inserted.
