House. C17 or earlier. Timberframed plastered house with half-
hipped thatched roof and area of red tiling around the front
dormer. 3-unit plan with lobby entry and large central chimney
one third from N end. One and a half storeys 3 windows house
with small gabled tiled dormer on wallplate of centre part.
Middle originally open to roof and S bay lofted over. Near end
of C17 or early C18 chimney stack built and hall and N room
floored over and dormer window put in to light chamber over hall
(RCHM Typescript). External gable chimney on S later. Very
steep thatched roof. 3-light casement with leaded glazing on
left. 2 small rectangular projecting bay windows with tiled
roofs. Boarded door with dripboard on small brackets. An
historic C17 timberframed thatched house of special interest.
