House. Early C19 or earlier, renovated in 1913 (heraldic date
panel over door). Roughcast, probably on a timber frame. Upper
part red tile hung with decorative panels of scalloped tiles.
Roofs banded with scallop tiles. T-plan house of 2 storeys
facing S with central rear wing. Very tall octagonal shaft to
red brick chimneys, 2 on each end and 3 on rear wing.
Symmetrical S front with 2 windows to each floor and central
door. Small gables over upper windows. 3-light flush casement
windows with Gothick cast iron casements. Central panelled door
with 2 bullion lights and heavy doorcase with carved trusses to
small flat hood. A picturesque estate house.
