House. Late C17 or early C18, altered mid C19 when front was faced in
white brick, now rendered. Timber frame. Roughcast gable ends. Plain
tile roof. 2 storeys. 3 windows. Recessed sashes on ground floor,
glazing bar casements on upper floor. Flush panel door on left centre.
Lean-to extension on left has similar door and window. Both doors have
picturesque mid-C19 wooden Tuscan porches with cusped barge boards. Said
to have been the Dun Cow P.H. (RCHM Typescript).
