C17. 2 storeys in brick. Pantile roof with 1 dormer and coped gable ends. No
11 a projecting wing with gable to road, cement rendered, 1 window, later hung
sashes with glazing bars and vermiculate Keystone above canted bay with hung sashes
with glazing bars, above segmental shop front without glazing bars. Double door
and 4-light rectangular fanlight, Nos 13 and 15 have 3 windows, hung sashes with
glazing bars, wood cases. No 13 has canted bay on ground floor and engaged fluted
Tuscan entrance. Door of 6 fielded panels, rectangular fanlight. No 15 has 2 similar
windows, replaced sashes. Moulded wood doorcase with tall rectangular fanlight
and door of 6 panels, 4 glass. Rendered plinth. Brick eaves cornice and upper
courses rebuilt.

Nos 7 to 31 (odd) and the Avenue Hospital, stables and wall form a group. No 21
(including former No 19) is of local interest.
