Farmhouse. Early C19. Local stone rubble with Bath stone dressings; plain clay tile roof coped at West end (continuing
over Horseshoe cottages - not listed - to East); brick end and intermediate chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays, of which
bay 1 is straight jointed to remainder. Lower bay 1 has C20 flat roofed segmental bay window with 3-light small pane
casement over; remaining bays have groups of three 8-pane sash windows, all under exposed timber lintels; 6-panel door
to bay 3 with architraved surround and pediment hood on corbel brackets. Interior not seen. Cast iron railings in front
of house about 800 mm high, set into dwarf stone wall, having barbed arrowheads with acanthus leaf heads to bracing
standards. Adjacent to the railings a milestone, (qv).
