Said to date from 1637. The nucleus is an ochre-washed stone building of 2 storeys
with a small range coming forward on left. Thatched roof with overhanging eaves.
3 original 2-light mullioned windows on 1st floor with rectangular hoodmoulds. Remaining
fenestration is modern or restored. Early C19 door with thatched porch. A second
thatched porch to left-hand wing. Early C19 buttressed wing to right. Slate roof
with gable-end to street.
