Railway viaduct, now disused. Opened 1874, for Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway, Shepton Mallet to Bath extension,
doubled in width 1894, partially rebuilt 1946. 6-arches of varying height carrying elevated double width trackway at
right angles over Bath Road. Rock faced masonary to North half, brick faced to South half, brick linings to all arch
heads. Large piers to each end, having pyramidal capstones. C20 concrete shuttering to central piers for reinforcement.
Important structure as it frames an entrance into the town from the North.
