Farmhouse. C17, remodelled late C19. Coursed and uncoursed
limestone rubble; gable Welsh slate roof with late C19 crested
tile ridge; brick and end stacks, and brick lateral stack to rear
outshut. House of 4-unit plan with dairy to left and cross
passage to right of centre, continuous rear. outshut and late C19
rear right wing. 2 storeys; 6-window first-floor range.
Segmental stone arch over late C19 panelled door, French
windows and 3-light casements; late C19 cast-iron verandah with
decorative brackets. Rear elevation has segmental brick arch
over C19 five-light casement, and wide eaves over C19 two and
3-light casements with leaded light; similar 2-light casement to
rear wing. Interior: late C19 features include panelled doors
and fireplaces with cast-iron grates. C17 chamfered ground-floor
beams and, to left, open fireplace with stop-chamfered bressummer
and HL hinges to adjoining plank door. Included for group value.
