Cottage. C16-C17, walls raised early C19. Roughcast grooved as ashlar over rubble, shallow pitch double Roman tile
roof, external brick stack left gable end and brick stack left of cross passage. Plan: possibly open hall house, now 3
cell with C20 addition at rear. Two storeys, irregular fenestration, all 3-light ovolo moulded mullioned windows, 2
left and one above entrance, ground floor 2 left of entrance, small stair light to left of entrance, one 3-light right
and stall leaded window beyond, shouldered Ham stone surround to prison style studded plank door, central light with
grill. Interior: partially seen, extensively altered, possibly lobby entry with large chamfered bressumer right,
chamfered lintel left of entry and winder stair rising on facade wall, an unusual arrangement also found at Fyrse
Cottage (qv) opposite. Some jointed cruck trusses, closely spaced, and timber framed partition on first floor.
