Farmhouse and barn adjoining. Farmhouse probably Early-mid C18, wing added late C18, barn mid C19. Farmhouse: squared
and coursed blue lias, high chamfered plinth to wing, plain clay tiled roof, slate at rear, coped verges, brick stacks
gable ends south-east and north-east and to left of cross passage, ball finial north-west gable end. L-plan: 3-cell and
cross passage with cross wing and outshot, barn abutting cross wing left. Two storeys, 1:2 bays left cross wing lit by
stair light in gable end, two 3-light mullioned and transomed windows to right under voussoirs set below eaves, ground
floor 2-light unglazed opening in outshot of cross wing, 3-light casement right of original entrance, inserted entrance
left, one bay re-entrant angle with 3-light mullioned and transomed windows, studded plank door, trelliswork wooden
porch right, pentice slate roofed porch in angle left carried on wooden columns approached by 2 steps. Barn: squared
and coursed blue lias a tall, chamfered rubble plinth, hipped slate roof. Threshing barn, about 5 bays with double
doors on left return. North-east front facing road: 2 pointed arch heads with projecting brick voussoirs with
terminals, horizontal double doors on brick plinth. Left return similar segmental headed opening with double doors, no
plinth, segmental headed loft opening above.
