Barn. Early C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded, on stone
plinth, with corrugated asbestos roof. At right-angles to
road. 4 timber-framed bays with front and rear aisles, integral
right end aisle (towards road) and C19 left end lean-to.
Hipped roof. Full-height double doors in second bay from right,
with aisle interrupted in front of them. Formerly similar doors
to rear. Interior: posts on wooden cills. Cut jowls. Curved
passing shores. Arch braces to tie-beams and arcade plates.
Edge-halved scarf joint. Some replaced studding. Clasped
purlin roof with reducing principal rafters.
