House. 1688 with later additions. Dressed stone with slate
roof. 2 storeys, 7 bays, the 1st bay former stable, 2nd and
3rd bays C19 link block. One-storey end bay. Right hand
gable ends are coped with kneelers. 2nd and 3rd bays of
ground floor have casement windows; 5th and 6th bays have 4-
light single-chamfered-mullioned windows with king mullions;
7th bay has casement. 1st floor has sashed windows with
glazing bars to 2nd and 3rd bays, 3-light single-chamfered-
mullioned windows to 4th, 5th and 6th bays, that to 6th bay
lacks mullions and has casement, 3-light casement to attic.
C19 gabled porch has paired doors with decorated glass
panels. Brick gable-end stacks. Rear has gabled wing,
conservatory with gabled stone entrance has cambered lintel
with flower and shield. Projecting garage entrance and
stable with mangers remaining. Wing has horizontally
sliding sashes. Interior has chamfered beams, fireplace
recess with timber beam and fireplace with stone lintel.
Attic has 2 unusual roof trusses, combined collar-and-strut
and fishbone trusses, but fishbone elements might be later
alterations.
