1845-9 by D R Hill. Red brick with a little diaperwork and stone dressings.
In a castellated round arched style with vermiculated quoins. Approximately
symmetrical composition of entrance gateway with flanking polygonal turrets
and, left and right, low walls and outer blocks each of 3 bays, each of
the outside ones advanced a little. The left hand block partly of 2 storeys,
otherwise both blocks 3 storeyed and with central arched doors up steps, one
of them glazed in. Front piece only of special interest.
