Circa 1830-40 built as a pair of stucco faced houses. Gable end slate roof
with moulded eaves bed. Red brick chimney stacks with terracotta pots.
Three window symmetrical fronts to Nos 146 and 147; revealed glazing bar
sashes, thin block sills. Central slender pilastered doorways, 3 pane
rectangular fanlights, deep friezes with projecting cornices. The entrance
to No 148 is set in recessed stuccoed lean-to extension; Tuscan pierced
porch set in angle with deep entablature. Narrow window to left of porch with
small panes and Gothic cusped glazing pattern to head.
