in the churchyard, about 5m south-
west of porch, Church of St. Mary

Two pedestal tombs. Late C18, early C19. Stone. Skipp monument;
1780's: pyramid top,. step, weathered lid, moulded edge: raised
rectangle to sides, moulded top to plinth, slight projection to
stone packing below. Good lettering, long 's' in early
inscriptions, Gothic lettering in 1785 one: commemorates various
children, 2 called Robert Skipp, died 1781 and 1783; later
inscriptions. Adjoining unidentified, early C19. Small flat
centre, possibly base for missing urn, sloping sides, step, flat
top, moulded edge. Vertical leaf frieze: quarter-square corner
balusters, with leaf decoration to capitals; plain sides, moulded
base.
