House now 2 houses. C17 or early C18 extended at rear in mid
C19. Timberframed and weatherboarded with steep red tile roof,
half-hipped at left. 3-unit central chimney plan with internal
gable stack at right. 2-storeys and 3-windows. Continuous
dripboard on shaped brackets over ground floor openings.
Plank door beside central and left hand lower windows. 2-light
wooden casements with small panes. Rear outshut under catslide
extension of roof. Rendered right hand gable. 2-storeys brick
and tile rear wing. On the Easneye estate. Extension and
subdivision probably date from when T F Buxton remodelled the
estate buildings from 1866 with Alfred Waterhouse as his
architect.
