II
Detached house. Early and late C18/early C19 main block, with C20
painted brick extension right (not of listable quality) and C19
extension back left. C18 block, ashlar limestone. Limestone slate
roof with flat limestone coping at gable ends. Ashlar gable end
stacks. Moulded top course to left stack. C19 extension at
back, brick with limestone slate roof. 2 storeys. 3-windowed,
12-pane sashes with horns. 3 and 4-light stone mullioned flat
chamfered windows with leaded lights at rear. Classical style
doorway, to main block C20, with triangular headed canopy with
pendant from apex. Canopy supported by console brackets at top of
fluted pilasters. 3-pane fanlight over 6-panel door. Upper 4
panels of door fielded.
Interior: panelled shutters remain. Limited interior inspection.
