Two houses, semi-detached, formerly 3 occupations. No 2 (right),
C17, No 3 (left) added late C17/early C18, with C20 extension to
rear, not of listable quality. Ashlar with limestone slate roof.
Flat coped gables with roll cross saddles. Flat coping, rising to
twin diagonal stacks, marking position of former gable to rear of
No 1/2. Flat coping rising to twin diagonal stacks, left gable end.
Single, square stack from gable end rear right. All stacks ashlar
with moulded top and bottom courses. No. 1/2 has gable end to
road. The facade of No. 3, in attached left is flush with this
gable end. No 3: 1 storeys with coped Cotswold gable from eaves.
One windowed. 3 and 4-light, flat chamfered, stone-mullioned
windows. 1 with king mullion. 2 bull's-eye windows in left
gable end. Unpainted door, left in 4-centred arched surround with
large stone lintel with flat moulded top. No 1/2. 2 storeys and
attic. Windows: 2, 3 and 4-light, flat-chamfered, stone-
mullioned. One with king mullion. All windows metal casements
with leaded lights and stopped hoods. C20 plank door, off centre
right in right wall. There was formerly a central doorway with
gabled porch in this wall, now replaced by a window.
Interior No 1/2: large stone 4-centred arched fireplace, bread
oven, smaller 4 centred arched fireplace on first floor.
