Probably two former houses, now one large shop on ground floor with
flat over. Possibly partly C16, refronted probably in C18 with C19
shop front. Timber framed with brick infill on right hand return,
brick front, stone slate roof with parapet wall, artificial stone
slates on right hand return of hipped gable on right with small
brick stack. Single front range with rear extension, 2 storeys and
attic. Three windows, 12-pane sashes, with timber lintels to left
and centre, all with thick glazing bars. Ground floor has wide C19
shop front with 4 Ionic pilasters with arabesque work in panel and
fluted consoles cutting through moulding along top and with steep
gablets over end two. Plate glass shop windows to each side and
central glazed door with small flanking canted windows. Small twin
casement in hipped end to right, and small square flat-roofed
dormer to left in main roof.
