Former estate school, and four cottages now in one occupation.
c1800 and C20, probably built at the instigation of Edmund John
Chamberlayne. Coursed, squared and dressed limestone, stone slate
roof, limestone stacks. Crescent shaped plan with C20 extension
rear left, not of special interest. Symmetrical 2-storey 4:2:4-
windowed facade, all glazing-bar casements with fanlights over
within round-headed surrounds. Two larger windows within plain
architraves with keystones and imposts flanking circular date
plaque (no date legible). Central fielded 6-panel door within
plain round-headed architrave with keystone and imposts. Doorway
formerly opened into through passage. Crest above door bearing
horse's head above crown on square painted background. Round-
headed doorways far right and far left glazed to match windows.
Bull's eye windows to ground floor in gable ends. Gablet roof with
C20 axial stacks.
