Detached house c1805-10, mid C19 and early C20. Early C19 range;
coursed limestone rubble, pebble-dashed at front, dressed quoins.
Early C20 extensions; rock-faced limestone and random limestone.
C19 cottage; limestone rubble and squared and dressed limestone.
Stone slate roofing and ashlar stacks to all parts. Rectangular
main body with two parallel ridged extensions rear left. Gable of
early C20 extension projects forward left of entrance front,
another extension of similar date right of but slightly forward of
main body. C19 cottage attached to gable end of rear right-hand
wing. Early C19 range; 2 storeys, 3-windowed facade, (probably
originally 4 bays). Sixteen-pane sashes to first floor and to
ground floor right of C20 four-panelled door within a round-headed
surround with fanlight, the whole with beaded architrave.
Tripartite sash with horns left of door. Gable end of early C20
wing left lit by paired 12-pane sashes. All windows with dressed
stone surrounds. Single storey early C20 extension left of C18
range lit by 3 and 4-light wood casements either side of central
French doors. All windows with horizontal glazing bars. C19
cottage; 2 storeys, 2 and 3-light casements some with glazing bars
some with only horizontal glazing bars. Bull's-eye window
(possibly C20) in side facing courtyard. Roof of early C19 range
and early C20 extension hipped. Lateral, gable end and axial
stacks. Interior not inspected.
