5/29 The Old Parsonage
GV II
Detached house. Early C18 and C20. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone with dressed quoins. Stone slate roof to main body,
artifical stone slate to C20 extension, ashlar stacks. 'L'-shaped
main body extended back rear right. C20 extension to forward
facing gable right flat-roofed C20 porch not of special interest.
Three-windowed facade, all 2-light casements to first floor, one
with leaded panes one with horizontal glazing bars. Three-light
stone-mullioned casement with horizontal glazing bars to ground
floor right of C20 porch with C20 plank door. C20 extension to
gable end lit by 2 and 3-light wood casements. Gable end and axial
stacks with chamfered cappings. Interior not inspected.
