Detached cottage. Late C17-early C18. Bands of orange and
cream-coloured thinly bedded limestone with dressed stone quoins.
Stone slate roof. C20 coursed and squared limestone stack on
ashlar stump. Rectangular plan with slightly later lean-to at
rear. C20 lean-to with corrugated asbestos roof not of special
interest. Two storeys and attic. Symmetrical, 2-windowed facade
with 4-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements to the
ground floor, two similar but 3-light windows to the first floor.
All windows with stopped hoods and horizontal glazing bars.
Central C19 four-panel door, now with the upper two panels glazed,
within a flat-chamfered Tudor-arched surround and a C20 gabled
stone-built porch. Gable-end window to attic. Interior; spine
beam.
