2/275 The Cottage
GV II
Detached cottage. Early C19. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone. Stone slate roof with ashlar stacks. 'L' shaped
plan. Two storeys. Symmetrical, 2-windowed facade lit by 2-
light casements with glazing bars. Central C19 four-panelled door
within a lattice work porch. Curving projection from the left-
hand return, possibly once a bread oven (now used as a larder).
Gable-end stacks to the main body (both restored C20). Interior
not inspected.
