Large barn. C15, possibly earlier. Timber-framed;
weatherboarding; corrugated-iron roof. 6-bay; off-centre barn door
position. Roughly weatherboarded exterior; off-centre stable door
at east end with loft door over; roof raised at door position to
sides; plank barn doors remaining on north side but missing on
south; brick plinth. Internal structure of 7 very large pairs of
crucks, each with upper and lower cambered collars and tenon-
jointed cruck spur to wall post; small framing to west end.
Rafters, purlins and windbracing all C20. Internal span of 7.2 m
across feet of crucks. Part of group of 3 contemporary cruck-
framed buildings: farmhouse and outbuilding, (q.v.). (N. W.
