Farleys End Farmhouse

Possibly former byre, now outbuilding. C15, possibly earlier;
altered in C19. Partly timber-framed; brick and lias rebuilding;
brick chimney; C20 clay pantile roof. 2-bay; single-storey with
loft. West side: early square framing to left; mostly brick with
segmental arched casement to right. North end: lias gable patched
in brick; segmental arched loft casement. East side: left in
brick, right in lias; doorway with plank door and casement to left,
both with segmental arches; right segmental arched plank door.
South end; 2 very small casements; brick ridge chimney. Internal
lofts; 2 pairs of crucks with arched collars in older timber-framed
half of building; very heavy purlins. Part of group of 3
contemporary cruck-framed buildings: farmhouse and barn, (q.v.).
