Formerly 4 houses, now 3 in row. Early Cl9; C20 alterations.
Coursed and random rubble limestone; limestone rubble, ashlar and
concrete block chimneys; stone slate (No 22) and concrete tile
roofs. Two-storey. Front: mixed fenestration, Nos 24 and 28 with
mostly C20 replacement casements and doors, all openings with
segmental arches to No 28 - this block altered from 2 former
houses, one doorway being blocked. Strap pointing and concrete
rendered window surrounds to No 24. No 22 appears less altered,
retaining 12-pane sash to ground floor; no windows to upper floor
on street front. Interior not inspected. Included for Group
Value.
