Detached house. Mid C17; early C18 rear wing; early C19
rebuilding. Random and coursed rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys;
stone slate roof. Three-storey with 2-storey rear wing. Front:
probably 2-storey originally, later increased in height. Scattered
timber casements with timber lintels. Central doorway with timber
lintel and C20 plank door. Gable end chimneys with plain caps.
South west side (to Friday Street): grouped casements under
hoodmoulds, 2 stone cross windows to upper floor, small single-
light to left. Similar fenestration originally to ground floor,
altered with doorway and timber casement. Chimney to end of wing
with moulded cap. Formerly an inn.
