C18, C19. A coaching inn, the former 2-storeyed front being added to, to give a
C19 3-storeyed facade of 8 windows, with a 2-storeyed 1 window attachment at the
east side. Slate roof, with a moulded eaves having fascia containing a series of
coupled curved brackets, doubled at each end. Stucco walling, with simple
moulded architraves to windows, the ground floor 3-light units having a cornice
on 4 brackets, and thin architraves. Victoria sashes in reveals, but blank above
entrances. The doorway has a blocking course, a cornice with coupled brackets
above pilasters, and band of large dentils, and a plain arched opening. At the east
side is an elliptical archway with a keystone. The eastern unit has a plain
parapet, a large 3-light sash above a plain square opening, these are older and
more recent rear extensions.
