8/11 East Lodge to Amport House

GV II

Lodge at entrance to Amport House. 1871. Yellow brick walls with stone dressi.igs,
and a slate roof. Tudor design of T-form with a lower extension at the rear, and
an entrance within the main angle: 1 storey and attic. Steep roof with ornamental
bargeboards, lower monopitch roofs to bays and extensions: there are 2 large stacks
with moulded bases to the separate octagonal stone flues (one of 3 another of 2)
with moulded caps. Windows are casements, within chamfered stone frames. The porch
has a gable above a 4- centred arch.
