Originally a C15 timber-framed and plastered house with cross wings at the east and west ends, but refronted in brick in the C19, now painted. 2 storeys to the wings and 1 storey and attics to the centre block. The windows are mullioned and transomed casements. The gables of the cross wings have brick rusticated quoins and rusticated surrounds to the windows. A gabled porch projects on the front. Roof tiled, with a gabled dormer in the centre block. All the gables have C19 cut and shaped ornamental bargeboards. (RCHM 77).
