Hall house, C15 or earlier, altered in C16 and C20. Timber framed, plastered,
roofed with handmade red clay tiles. Hall aligned approx. NW-SE, aspect SW,
with 2 gabled crosswings extending to the rear, forming an irregular half-H
plan (the SE wing being the longer). C16 axial chimney stack at NW of hall.
Single-storey extension with catslide roof between rear wings. NW wing of 2
storeys with attic, hall block of one storey with attic, SE wing of 2 storeys.
C20 door at front of tiled gabled porch, 4 C20 light alloy windows on ground
floor, 3 more on first floor, of which one is in a gabled dormer, and one in
attic. 3 attached diagonal chimney shafts.
