House., C16 or earlier with later additions and alterations. Exposed timber
frame, to left original range with halved bracing. Plastered gable range to
right. Various plastered rear ranges. Red plain tiled roofs. Rear red brick
chimney stack. 2 storeys. 1:2 first floor window range, 1:2 tripartite
vertically sliding sashes to ground floor, those to right a red tiled bay. C19
gabled enclosed porch to right of original range with C19/C20 plank and muntin
door. Reputed to contain 2 original fireplaces, a carved bressumer beam in
hall formerly the south side of the original building, and C17 staircase with
turned balusters. RCHM 4.
