House, late medieval. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red clay
tiles. The hall block and E wing probably of C15 origin, much altered in C16
whan 3 storeyed W wing rebuilt or added. The upper storey projects on the front
of both crosswings and they have original moulded bressummers and bargeboards.
The centre block has an original central chimney stack witl. 8 diagonal shafts.
3-window range to the front, all diamond leaded casements. In the centre block
and W wing are some original C16 stone fireplaces with 4-centred heads and
carved spandrels, of almost the same pattern as were in the mansion of Albyns.
