House. Dated 1584. Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roofs. Left
and off centre right red brick chimney stacks. Lower rear range. 2 storeys and
attics. Long wall jetty. 3 window range of C20 3 light casements. To left is a
C19 4 panelled door, fanlight over. 5 carved pilasters with crested capitals
divide the ground floor and support the foliate carved jetty brackets, 2 with
shields and crosses. To left of the door is a carved panel with side crosses
and date 1584. Said to contain a C17 panel with fleur-de-lis above a first
floor fireplace. No access at time of resurvey. RCHM 4.
