3/2 Group of 3 tombstones
approx. 30 metres north
east of north east corner
of Chancel

GV II

Group of 3 similar headstones with a body stone to east of central monument.
William Walford 1832, Mary Ellis Walford, 1832 and Elizabeth Walford 1818. The
carved heads have lugged ends and sunk ovals each with fine cast iron heads and
wings of 2 cherubs. The central body tomb with moulded edges, ribbed top and
footstone. An usual group and an early dated example of cast iron work on
memorials in Essex.
