Timber-framed building, C16 or earlier probably of Wealden type with plaster
infilling and curved braces, the ground floor rebuilt in red brick. The first
floor of the south-westernmost window bay was probably once jettied but has
been underbuilt and is now weatherboarded. The eaves of the remainder of
the house overhang with a cove beneath them and are supported on a bracket
at the south-west end. Two storeys. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof with
pentice at the north-east end. Three casement windows, mostly with small
square leaded panes. The interior contains an inglenook fireplace and the
remains of the dais bean.
