Farmhouse. First quarter of C18. Knapped flint, brick
dressings, Kent tile roof. 2 storeys with attics, 5 bays.
Entrance front (east) has 3 ground floor sashes, 12 pane at
north, 16 pane at south. C20 door insertion in south bay,
blocked opening in centre bay probably original door position.
First floor plat band hipped over central bay. First floor has
5 12-pane sashes. Brick rustication to openings and 2 hands of
brick banding to each floor. 2 hipped casement dormer windows.
Hipped roof with 2 stacks on axis, well in centre of roof.
Garden front has one ground floor and one first floor 12-pane
sash, one blocked ground and 2 blocked first floor windows. One
ground floor mid to late C19 3 sided canted bay window addition.
Late C19 service wing at south now called Briar Cottage.
