Farmhouse and outbuildings. C17 with later additions. Stone, the house
roughcast, slate roofs. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the 1st bay under steeper roof.
Most windows are sashed with glazing bars and horns; those to ground floor have
slate dripcourses, that to 3rd bay has small-paned fixed glazing with opening
pane. 1st bay adjoins open-fronted shed, and has small lights. 2nd bay has
gabled porch, entrance has door with round-headed panels and moulded styles and
rails. Entrance between 3rd and 4th bays has panelled door and gabled trellis
porch. 2 cross-axial stacks with slate set offs. Small 2-bay unit adjoins
open-fronted shed; slate dripcourse; ground floor windows have slate hung
lintels, those to 1st floor have 4- and 3-light wood mullions; wide-boarded
door. To right cow house and barn in range continuous with house. Cow house
door has ventilation slots and flanking windows; barn doors are pivoted. Wing
to right has overhanging, bracketed eaves; end bay has steps to granary
entrance. Rear of wing has C20 lean-to shed. Rear of house has gabled wing
built into hillside. Inside not inspected, said to have upper cruck trusses and
