GV II

Bank barn with cow house under. C18. Stone rubble with slate roof. Windows
with wood frames, 3 to cow house; 2 to upper level, one of 2 lights and one of 3
lights with missing mullion flank threshing door. Blocked entrance to right,
and small lean-to projection. Left return has cow house entrance. Right return
has slate dripcourses and window. Rear has ramp to pivoted barn doors; square
ventilation holes. Interior has tie beam trusses; cow house has slate and wood
partitions to one end. Property of The National Trust, the gift of Beatrix
Potter.
